Review:  "When I first watched Ridley Scott's 'Blade Runner' (before the 'Final Cut' was released) I couldn't understand why the movie was praised as it was or, why it was in the IMDb Top 250 in the first place. I never had intentions of watching it again until this latest 'Final Cut' of the film was released. I noticed that this release was garnering a lot of hype and found out the DVD was selling very well. So I thought of watching it again, and when I came around to it I was pleasantly surprised to finally understand what all the fuss was about. The fact that the film was cleaned up and presented in almost pristine quality for this 'new' release added greatly to the experience, since the visuals are amazing—I have never seen a movie with unique visualization of a futuristic world as is shown in this film. And don't expect some action-filled Sci-fi, this is much deeper than that—almost a hypnotic meditation on what it means to be human. Oh, and the music score by Vangelis is so appropriate that I can see why people are also looking for the soundtrack as well. If you haven't seen this film—it's hard to believe there are people out there who haven't seen it—don't pass on the opportunity to see this. I say first rent it, because many will attest to the fact that this movie needs repeated viewings to be appreciated. If you like it, buy the 'Final Cut' straight away—you won't regret it."
